Following the brief trend of using AI to create figurines, I uploaded a photo of myself from Universal Studios Japan. I added some details to generate the figure in its packaging. I roughly cut out the image in GIMP and then used ChatGPT to remove the glasses.

Next, I had ChatGPT generate back and side views of the figure, which I then imported into Meshy for 3D modeling.

It took a few attempts to get a result suitable for 3D printing, but it was a fun project. The paint job on this first attempt wasn’t great. For the Second Print, I used primer and matte colors.
