Raspberry Pi Pico project: I modified the NES PCB by soldering wires from the conductive button connections to the Pico’s GPIO pins and severing other connections on the PCB to stop it passing through the on board microcontroller.
I then read the infrared codes from a TV remote and added a script with a transmitter to turn the setup into a YouTube navigator for my TV, sending the appropriate infrared signals.



I 3D modeled and printed a back piece to house the extra components, powering the Pico with three AAA batteries. The design allows for a battery cover at the back.
